History

Wald.Andersons Speditions Aktiebolag was founded in 1944 by Lundberg and Kullberg AB as the owners, with Valdemar Anderson as the director. The company was established with a focus on freight forwarding within sheet metal manufacturing but also took on other assignments and clients.  

The company reached its peak during the 1950s, growing to include around twenty employees and its own warehouse in the Port of Gothenburg. One of the most significant assignments during this period was a large-scale freight forwarding project for the Mexican government, where the company was responsible for transporting all the equipment needed to build Mexico's railway system.  

During the 1950s, the company became authorized as a ship agent and added  

“Skeppsmäkleri” to its name. The ship clearance services expanded, and during the 1980s and 1990s, tanker chartering and port agency in the Port of Gothenburg became the company's main focus. The chartering operations were conducted in collaboration with major energy companies in Northern Europe. 

In 2005, the company was sold to Sirius Rederi AB, where the chartering operations were separated to form the Sirius Chartering AB, from the port agency services. The port agency division expanded to offer services in all Swedish ports and different segments, resulting in substantial growth.   

As the company continued to grow and expanded into Denmark in 2024, we changed our name to Sirius Agency Marine Solutions to better reflect our vision of providing our customers with a comprehensive, all-inclusive solution.
